for which see TIP , is used of Jacob's staff, Hebrews 11:21 .* Note: (Phrases) In Matthew 27:51; Mark 15:38 , apo anothen, "from the top" (lit. "from above"), is used of the upper part of the Temple veil. In John 19:23 , the different phrase ek ton anothen is used of the weaving of the Lord's garment (the chiton: see CLOTHING), lit., "from the parts above".
