(Strong's #809 — Adjective — aschemon — as-kay'-mone )

"shapeless" (a, negative, schema, "a form"), the opposite of euschemon, "comely," is used in 1 Corinthians 12:23 . In the Sept., Genesis 34:7; Deuteronomy 24:3 .

Note: For the verb aschemoneo, rendered "to behave oneself uncomely" in 1 Corinthians 7:36 , AV, see BEHAVE , No. 4.
