הַתִּשְׁבִּ֜י

[who was] of the inhabitants

mit·tō·šā·ḇê

מִתֹּשָׁבֵ֣י

[As] the LORD

there shall be neither

wə·nis·tar·tā

וְנִסְתַּרְתָּ֙

yourself by the brook

hay·yar·dên.

הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃

And it shall be

of the brook

mê·han·na·ḥal

[that] you shall drink

hā·‘ō·rə·ḇîm

I have commanded

to provide you

lə·ḵal·kel·ḵā

לְכַלְכֶּלְךָ֖

according to the word

and for he went

by the brook

hay·yar·dên.

הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃

And the ravens

wə·hā·‘ō·rə·ḇîm,

וְהָעֹרְבִ֗ים

in the morning

in the evening

And it came to pass

that dried up

do there had been

to Zarephath

ṣā·rə·p̄a·ṯāh

[belongeth] to Sidon

lə·ṣî·ḏō·wn,

wə·yā·šaḇ·tā

וְיָשַׁבְתָּ֖

I have commanded

lə·ḵal·kə·le·ḵā.

לְכַלְכְּלֶֽךָ׃

to Zarephath

ṣā·rə·p̄a·ṯāh,

when he came

the widow [was]

mə·qō·še·šeṯ

מְקֹשֶׁ֣שֶׁת

and he called

that I may drink

וְאֶשְׁתֶּֽה׃

and as she was going

in your hand

And she said

[As] the LORD

and a little

baṣ·ṣap·pā·ḥaṯ;

בַּצַּפָּ֑חַת

[am] I gathering

mə·qō·še·šeṯ

מְקֹשֶׁ֜שֶׁת

that I may go in

wa·‘ă·śî·ṯî·hū

וַעֲשִׂיתִ֙יהוּ֙

that it for me and my son

wa·’ă·ḵal·nu·hū

וַאֲכַלְנֻ֖הוּ

wā·mā·ṯə·nū.

אֵלִיָּ֙הוּ֙

as you have said

from it first

ḇā·ri·šō·nāh

בָרִאשֹׁנָה֙

for you and for your son

bā·’a·ḥă·rō·nāh.

בָּאַחֲרֹנָֽה׃

and shall the cruse

wə·ṣap·pa·ḥaṯ

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh.

And she went

wat·ta·‘ă·śeh

וַתַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה

according to the word

’ê·lî·yā·hū;

and her house

and did the cruse

wə·ṣap·pa·ḥaṯ

according to the word

’ê·lî·yā·hū.

אֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃

And it came to pass

had·də·ḇā·rîm

הַדְּבָרִ֣ים

[that] the son

of the women

the mistress

of the house

his sickness

And she said

’ê·lî·yā·hū,

אֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm;

are you come

לְהַזְכִּ֥יר

to call my sin

And he took him

way·yiq·qā·ḥê·hū

וַיִּקָּחֵ֣הוּ

out of her bosom

and carried him up

way·ya·‘ă·lê·hū

וַֽיַּעֲלֵ֙הוּ֙

hā·‘ă·lî·yāh,

way·yaš·ki·ḇê·hū

וַיַּשְׁכִּבֵ֖הוּ

And he cried

have You also

hā·’al·mā·nāh

הָאַלְמָנָ֞ה

miṯ·gō·w·rêr

מִתְגּוֹרֵ֥ר

brought evil

hă·rê·‘ō·w·ṯā

by causing her son

And he stretched himself

way·yiṯ·mō·ḏêḏ

וַיִּתְמֹדֵ֤ד

come into him again

וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע

’ê·lî·yā·hū;

and came into him again

of the child

and he revived

and brought him down

way·yō·ri·ḏê·hū

וַיֹּרִדֵ֤הוּ

hā·‘ă·lî·yāh

into the house

hab·bay·ṯāh,

and delivered him

way·yit·tə·nê·hū

וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖הוּ

to his mother

’ê·lî·yā·hū,

אֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ

’ê·lî·yā·hū,

אֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ
