ḇə·mā·lə·ḵōw,

wa·ḥă·miš·šîm

וַחֲמִשִּׁ֤ים

in Jerusalem

בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם

way·ya·‘ă·ḇōḏ

וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֖ד

and he build

in the house

In Jerusalem

bî·rū·šā·lim

בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

And he build

miz·bə·ḥō·wṯ

מִזְבְּח֖וֹת

haš·šā·mā·yim;

הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם

of the house

wə·he·‘ĕ·ḇîr

he made his son

through the fire

and observed times

and used enchantments

with familiar spirits

wə·yid·də·‘ō·nîm;

וְיִדְּעֹנִ֑ים

in the sight

לְהַכְעִֽיס׃

of the grove

hā·’ă·šê·rāh

לַֽאֲבוֹתָ֑ם

the Amorites

בְּגִלּוּלָֽיו׃

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

(שֹׁ֣מְעָ֔הּ

shall tingle

תִּצַּ֖לְנָה

And I will stretch

yə·rū·šā·lim,

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם

šō·mə·rō·wn,

of the house

and I will wipe

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם

[a man] wipes

haṣ·ṣal·la·ḥaṯ

הַצַּלַּ֙חַת֙

And I will forsake

wə·nā·ṭaš·tî,

וְנָטַשְׁתִּ֗י

of my inheritance

na·ḥă·lā·ṯî,

and deliver them

ū·nə·ṯat·tîm

וּנְתַתִּ֖ים

into the hand

of their enemies

’ō·yə·ḇê·hem;

אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֑ם

and they shall become

wə·lim·šis·sāh

וְלִמְשִׁסָּ֖ה

their enemies

’ō·yə·ḇê·hem.

אֹיְבֵיהֶֽם׃

they have done

[that that was] evil

their fathers

mim·miṣ·ra·yim,

מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם

Moreover also

he had filled

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

from one end

beside his sin

מֵֽחַטָּאתוֹ֙

he made Judah

of his fathers

And conspired

way·yiq·šə·rū

וַיִּקְשְׁר֥וּ

the servants

way·yā·mî·ṯū

וַיָּמִ֥יתוּ

in his own house

those who had conspired

haq·qō·šə·rîm

הַקֹּשְׁרִ֖ים

way·yam·lî·ḵū

וַיַּמְלִ֧יכוּ

יֹאשִׁיָּ֥הוּ

in his place

תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

Now the rest
