ἐγχρίω, which in the NT is confined to Revelation 3:18, occurs twice in magical papyri—P Lond 46.64 (iv/A.D.) (= I. p. 67) (ἔν)χριε δὲ τὸν δεξιὸν ὀφθαλμ (ὸν) μεθ᾽ ὕδατος πλοίου νεναυαγηκότος, ib. 121.836 (iii/A.D.) (= I. p. 95) ἔνχρειε τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς σου.
