(1)  a covering, Isaiah 14:11, e.g. of a ship, Ezekiel 27:7 hence a garment, Isaiah 23:18.

(2) omentum, or caul, covering the intestines, Levit. 9:19, fully הַחֵלֶב הַמְכַסֶּה אֶת־הַקֶּרֶב Exodus 29:13, 22 Exodus 29:22.
