1 hunting Genesis 27:30; ׳גִּבֹּרצֿ Genesis 10:9 (twice in verse), ׳יֹדֵעַ צ Genesis 25:27 (all J).

צַיִד m. (from the root צוּד to hunt)

(1)  hunting, Genesis 10:9.

(2) prey taken in hunting, Genesis 25:28.

(3) food; prop. the produce of hunting, Job 38:41 (of ravens); hence any other food, Nehemiah 13:15; Psalms 132:15 especially provision for a journey, Joshua 9:5, 14 Joshua 9:14 compare צֵידָה.
