For God will bring every work to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.

Hear the word of Yahweh,You rulers of Sodom;Give ear to the law of our God,You people of Gomorrah.

And many peoples will come and say,"Come, let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh,To the house of the God of Jacob,That He may instruct us from His waysAnd that we may walk in His paths."For from Zion the law will go forthAnd the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.

But Yahweh of hosts will be lofty in judgment,And the holy God will show Himself holy in righteousness.

And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called out, while the house of God was filling with smoke.

"Ask a sign for yourself from Yahweh your God; make it deep as Sheol or high as heaven."

Then he said, "Listen now, O house of David! Is it too slight a thing for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God as well?

Devise counsel, but it will be thwarted;Speak a word, but it will not stand,For God is with us."

Now when they say to you, "Inquire of the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter," should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living?

And they will pass through the land hard-pressed and hungry, and it will be that when they are hungry, they will be angry and curse their king and their God as they face upward.

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;And the government will rest on His shoulders;And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.

Behold, God is my salvation,I will trust and not dread;For Yah—Yahweh Himself—is my strength and song,And He has become my salvation."

And it will be that Babylon, the beauty of kingdoms, the honor of the Chaldeans' pride,Will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

But you said in your heart,‘I will ascend to heaven;I will raise my throne above the stars of God,And I will sit on the mount of assemblyIn the recesses of the north.

Yet gleanings will remain in it like the shaking of an olive tree,Two or three olives on the topmost branch,Four or five on the twigs of a fruitful tree,Declares Yahweh, the God of Israel.

For you have forgotten the God of your salvationAnd have not remembered the rock of your strong defense.Therefore you plant delightful plantsAnd set them with vine branches of a strange god.

O my trampled people and my afflicted of the threshing floor!What I have heard from Yahweh of hosts,The God of Israel, I have declared to you.

and the remainder of the number of bowmen, the mighty men of the sons of Kedar, will be few; for Yahweh, the God of Israel, has spoken."

Therefore glorify Yahweh in the east,The name of Yahweh, the God of Israel,In the coastlands of the sea.
