So He poured out on him the heat of His angerAnd the fierceness of battle;And it set him aflame all around,Yet he did not know it;And it burned him, but he did not set it upon his heart.

"Yet you have not called on Me, O Jacob;But you have become weary of Me, O Israel.

Yet you said, ‘I will be a queen forever.'These things you did not put on your heartNor remember the outcome of them.

But I said, "I have toiled in vain;I have spent My might for nothing and vanity;Yet surely the justice due to Me is with Yahweh,And My reward with My God."

The children of whom you were bereaved will yet say in your ears,‘The place is too cramped for me;Make room for me that I may live here.'

Surely our griefs He Himself bore,And our sorrows He carried;Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,Smitten of God, and afflicted.

He was oppressed and He was afflicted,Yet He did not open His mouth;Like a lamb that is led to slaughter,And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers,So He did not open His mouth.

So His grave was assigned with wicked men,Yet He was with a rich man in His death,Because He had done no violence,Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.

Therefore, I will divide for Him a portion with the many,And He will divide the spoil with the strong;Because He poured out His soul to death,And was numbered with the transgressors;Yet He Himself bore the sin of many,And interceded for the transgressors.

Lord Yahweh, who gathers the banished of Israel, declares,"Yet others I will gather to them, to those already gathered."

You were tired out by the length of your road,Yet you did not say, ‘It is hopeless.'You found renewed strength;Therefore you did not faint.

Yet they seek Me day by day and find pleasure in knowing My ways,As a nation that has done righteousnessAnd has not forsaken the judgment of their God.They ask Me for righteous judgments;They find pleasure in the nearness of God.

"Therefore I will yet contend with you," declares Yahweh,"And with your sons' sons I will contend.

Yet I planted you a choice vine,A completely true seed.How then have you turned yourself before MeInto the degenerate shoots of a foreign vine?

Can a virgin forget her ornaments,Or a bride her attire?Yet My people have forgotten MeDays without number.

Yet you said, ‘I am innocent;Surely His anger is turned away from me.'Behold, I will enter into judgment with youBecause you say, ‘I have not sinned.'

God says, "If a husband divorces his wifeAnd she goes from himAnd belongs to another man,Will he still return to her?Will not that land be completely polluted?But you are a harlot with many lovers;Yet you turn to Me," declares Yahweh.

And I saw that for all the adulteries of faithless Israel, I had sent her away and given her a certificate of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear; but she went and was a harlot also.

Yet in spite of all this, her treacherous sister Judah did not return to Me with all her heart, but rather in lying," declares Yahweh.

For thus says Yahweh,"The whole land shall be a desolation,Yet I will not execute a complete destruction.
