But he answered and said, I was not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

But she came and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me.

But she said, Yes, Lord: for even the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

But he answered and said to them, When it is evening, you say, [It will be] fair weather: for the heaven is red.

And in the morning, [It will be] foul weather today: for the heaven is red and lowering. You know how to discern the face of the heaven; but you can't [discern] the signs of the times.

An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of Jonah. And he left them, and departed.

How is it that you do not perceive that I did not speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Then they understood that he did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

He says to them, But who do you say that I am?

And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon Bar-jonah: for flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

But he turned, and said to Peter, Get behind me, Satan: you are a stumbling-block to me: for you do not mind the things of God, but the things of men.

but I say to you, that Elijah has come already, and they didn't know him, but did to him whatever they would. Even so shall the Son of man also suffer of them.

But, lest we cause them to stumble, go to the sea, and cast a hook, and take up the fish that first comes up; and when you have opened his mouth, you shall find a shekel: take that, and give to them for me and you.

But whoever shall cause one of these little ones that believe on me to stumble, it is profitable for him that a great millstone should be hanged about his neck, and [that] he should be sunk in the depth of the sea.

Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! for it must surely be that the occasions come; but woe to the man through whom the occasion comes!

But if he does not hear [you], take with you one or two more, that at the mouth of two witnesses or three every word may be established.

Jesus says to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.

But since he didn't have it to repay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

But that slave went out, and found one of his fellow slaves, who owed him $10,000: and he laid hold on him, and took [him] by the throat, saying, Pay what you owe.

And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay that which was due.
