But Jesus no more answered anything; insomuch that Pilate marveled.

But the chief priests stirred up the multitude, that he should rather release Barabbas to them.

And they offered him wine mingled with myrrh: but he did not receive it.

But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goes before you into Galilee: there you shall see him, as he said to you.

But the angel said to him, Don't be afraid, Zacharias: because your supplication is heard, and your wife Elizabeth shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this might be.

And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.

But Mary kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart.

but supposing him to be in the company, they went a day's journey; and they sought for him among their kinsfolk and acquaintances:

John answered, saying to them all, I indeed baptize you in water; but there comes he that is mightier than I, the lace of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and [in] fire:

whose fan is in his hand, thoroughly to cleanse his threshing-floor, and to gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.

but Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother's wife, and for all the evil things which Herod had done,

But of a truth I say to you, There were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up for three years and six months, when there came a great famine over all the land;

and to none of them was Elijah sent, but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman that was a widow.

And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.

But he passing through the midst of them went his way.

But he said to them, I must preach the good tidings of the kingdom of God to the other cities also: for therefore I was sent.

and he saw two boats standing by the lake: but the fishermen had gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

And Simon answered and said, Master, we toiled all night, and took nothing: but at your word I will let down the nets.
