For the Son of man also didn't come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.

And many rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried out the more a great deal, Son of David, have mercy on me.

And seeing a fig tree far off having leaves, he came, if perhaps he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it wasn't the season of figs.

And he taught, and said to them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but you have made it a den of robbers.

Truly I say to you, Whoever shall say to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he says comes to pass; he shall have it.

But should we say, From men-they feared the people: for all truly held John to be a prophet.

But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.

And when they had come, they say to him, Teacher, we know that you are true, and do not care about [what] anyone [thinks]; for you do not regard the person of men, but of a truth teach the way of God: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? Shall we give, or shall we not give?

But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, Why do you make trial of me? bring me a denarius, that I may see it.

For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as angels in heaven.

But as concerning the dead, that they are raised; have you not read in the book of Moses, in [the place concerning] the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, I [am] the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living: you do greatly err.

And the scribe said to him, Of a truth, Teacher, you have well said that he is one; and there is none other but he:

for they all cast in of their superfluity; but she of her want cast in all that she had, [even] all her living.

And when you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, don't be troubled: [these things] must surely come to pass; but the end is not yet.

But you take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to Sanhedrins; and in synagogues you shall be beaten; and before governors and kings you shall stand for my sake, for a testimony to them.

And when they lead you [to judgment], and deliver you up, don't be anxious beforehand what you shall speak: but whatever shall be given you in that hour, that speak; for it is not you that speak, but the Holy Spirit.

And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endures to the end, the same shall be saved.

But when you see the detestable thing of desolation standing where it ought not (let him that reads understand), then let those that are in Judea flee to the mountains:

But woe to those that are pregnant and to those that nurse in those days!
