But Jesus did not trust himself to them, for that he knew all men,

The wind blows where it will, and you hear the voice thereof, but do not know from where it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

And no one has ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, the Son of man.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him.

He that believes on him is not judged: but he that does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

But he that does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they have been worked in God.

You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but, that I am sent before him.

He that has the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, that stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is made full.

He must increase, but I must decrease.

He that believes on the Son has eternal life; but he that does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

-although Jesus himself didn't baptize, but his disciples-

but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.

But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such does the Father seek to be his worshipers.

But he said to them, I have meat to eat that you do not know.

The sick man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me.

But he answered them, He that made me whole, the same said to me, Take up your bed, and walk.

But he that was healed did not know who it was; for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in the place.

But Jesus answered them, My Father works even until now, and I work.

For this cause therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
