Jesus therefore answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing: for whatever things he does, these the Son also does in like manner.

For neither does the Father judge any man, but he has given all judgment to the Son;

Truly, truly, I say to you, He that hears my word, and believes him that sent me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

I can of myself do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is righteous; because I don't seek my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

But the witness which I receive is not from man: nevertheless I say these things, that you may be saved.

But the witness which I have is greater than [that of] John; for the works which the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father has sent me.

But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves.

But if you do not believe his writings, how shall you believe my words?

There is a lad here, who has five barley loaves, and two fish: but what are these among so many?

But he says to them, It is I; don't be afraid.

On the next day the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, save one, and that Jesus didn't enter with his disciples into the boat, but [that] his disciples went away alone.

Jesus answered them and said, Truly, truly, I say to you, You seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves, and were filled.

Don't work for the food which perishes, but for the food which abides to eternal life, which the Son of man shall give to you: for him the Father, even God, has sealed.

Jesus therefore said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Has not Moses given you the bread out of heaven? But my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.

But I said to you, that you have seen me, and yet do not believe.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that of all that which he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up on the last day.

But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, Does this cause you to stumble?

But there are some of you that do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that did not believe, and who it was that should betray him.

Jesus therefore says to them, My time is not yet come; but your time is always ready.
