When he gives quietness, who then can condemn? And when he hides his face, who then can see him? Alike whether [it is done] to a nation, or to man:

That which I don't see teach me: If I have done iniquity, I will do it no more?

Look to the heavens, and see; And look at the skies, which are higher than you.

How much less when you say you don't see him, The cause is before him, and you wait for him!

And now men don't see the light which is bright in the skies; But the wind passes, and clears them.

See now, his strength is in his loins, And his force is in the muscles of his belly.

He says in his heart, God has forgotten; He hides his face; he will never see it.

For Yahweh is righteous; he loves righteousness: The upright shall see his face.

Yahweh looked down from heaven on the sons of man, To see if there were any that understood, That sought after God.

For you will not leave my soul to Sheol; Neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.

As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with [seeing] your form.

All those that see me laugh me to scorn: They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying],

One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after; That I may dwell in the house of Yahweh all the days of my life, To see the beauty of Yahweh, And to inquire in his temple.

[I had fainted], unless I had believed to see the goodness of Yahweh In the land of the living.

Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good: Blessed is the [noble] man that takes refuge in him.

What man is he that desires life, And loves [many] days, that he may see good?

For with you is the fountain of life: In your light we shall see light.

Wait for Yahweh, and keep his way, And he will exalt you to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in Yahweh.

And if he comes to see [me], he speaks falsehood; His heart gathers iniquity to itself: When he goes abroad, he tells it.
