My soul thirsts for God, for the living God: When shall I come and see the face of God?

That he should still live always, That he should not see corruption.

For he shall see it. Wise men die; The fool and the brutish alike perish, And leave their wealth to others.

He shall go to the generation of his fathers; They shall never see the light.

The righteous also shall see [it], and fear, And shall laugh at him, [saying],

God looked down from heaven on the sons of man, To see if there were any that understood, That sought after God.

My God with his loving-kindness will meet me: God will let me see [my desire] on my enemies.

So I have looked on you in the sanctuary, To see your power and your glory.

They encourage themselves in an evil purpose; They commune of laying snares secretly; They say, Who will see them?

And they made their own tongue stumble against themselves: All that see them shall wag the head.

Come, and see the works of God; [He is] awesome in his doing toward the sons of man.

Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can't see; And make their loins continually to shake.

We don't see our signs: There is no more any prophet; Neither is there among us any that knows how long.

Show me a token for good, That those who hate me may see it, and be put to shame, Because you, Yahweh, have helped me, and comforted me.

What [prominent] man is he that shall live and not see death, That shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.

Only with your eyes you shall look, And see the reward of the wicked.

And they say, Yah will not see, Neither will the God of Jacob consider.

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?

That I may see the prosperity of your chosen, That I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, That I may glory with your inheritance.

These see the works of Yahweh, And his wonders in the deep.
