I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John, yet even the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he."

Soon afterward, Jesus traveled from one town and village to another, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with Him,

He replied, "The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, 'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'

Now this is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.

But He replied, "My mother and brothers are those who hear the word of God and carry it out."

When the man saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before Him, shouting in a loud voice, "What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You not to torture me!"

"Return home and tell how much God has done for you." So the man went away and proclaimed all over the town how much Jesus had done for him.

And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

But the crowds found out and followed Him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and He healed those who needed healing.

"But what about you?" Jesus asked. "Who do you say I am?" Peter answered, "The Christ of God."

But I tell you truthfully, some who are standing here will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God."

And they were all astonished at the greatness of God. While everyone was marveling at all that Jesus was doing, He said to His disciples,

But Jesus told him, "Let the dead bury their own dead. You, however, go and proclaim the kingdom of God."

Then Jesus declared, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and then looks back is fit for the kingdom of God."

Heal the sick who are there and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you.'

'Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet, we wipe off as a testimony against you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God is near.'

He answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' and 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

But He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."

Woe to you Pharisees! You pay tithes of mint and rue and every herb, but you disregard justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without neglecting the former.
