But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever, and thy remembrance to all generations.

Arise and have mercy upon Zion; for it is time to have mercy upon her.

For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favor the dust thereof.

This shall be written for the generation to come; and the people who shall be created shall praise the LORD.

For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth,

The LORD executes righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

He will not always chide; neither will he retain his anger for ever.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that revere him.

As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

For when the wind passes over it, it is gone; and the place thereof is known no more.

Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

The mountains ascend, the valleys descend to the place which thou hast founded for them.

He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herbs for the service of man, that he may bring forth food out of the earth,

There the birds make their nests; as for the stork, her house is in the cypress.

The high mountains are a refuge for the wild goats, and the rocks a refuge for the conies.

He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.

The glory of the LORD endures for ever; the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
