On that day the deaf will hear words of a book,And out of darkness and thick darkness the eyes of the blind will see.

Who say to the seers, "You must not see,"And to those who have visions, "You must not behold visions for us of what is right,Speak to us pleasant words,Behold visions of illusions.

The Lord has given you bread of distress and water of oppression; He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will see your Teacher.

Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded,And the ears of those who hear will pay attention.

Your eyes will behold the King in His beauty;They will see a far‑distant land.

You will no longer see a fierce people,A people of unintelligible speech which no one comprehends,Of a stammering tongue which no one understands.

Behold Zion, the city of our appointed times;Your eyes will see Jerusalem, an abode at ease,A tent which will not be folded;Its stakes will never be pulled up,Nor any of its cords ever be torn apart.

It will flourish profuselyAnd rejoice with rejoicing and shout of joy.The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,The majesty of Carmel and Sharon.They will see the glory of Yahweh,The majesty of our God.

Incline Your ear, O Yahweh, and hear; open Your eyes, O Yahweh, and see; and listen to all the words of Sennacherib, who sent them to reproach the living God.

I said, "I will not see Yah,Yah in the land of the living;I will look on man no more among the inhabitants of the world.

Then the glory of Yahweh will be revealed,And all flesh will see it together;For the mouth of Yahweh has spoken."

Lift up your eyes on highAnd see who has created these stars,The One who leads forth their host by number,He calls them all by name;Because of the greatness of His vigor and the strength of His power,Not one of them is missing.

That they may see and know,And establish and gain insight as well,That the hand of Yahweh has done this,And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Hear, you deaf!And look, you blind, that you may see.

Those who form a graven image are all of them futile, and their desirable things are of no profit; even their own witnesses fail to see or know, so that they will be put to shame.

They do not know, nor do they understand, for He has smeared over their eyes so that they cannot see and their hearts so that they will have no insight.

Thus says Yahweh, the Redeemer of Israel and its Holy One,To the despised One,To the One abhorred by the nation,To the Servant of rulers,"Kings will see and arise,Princes will also bow down,Because of Yahweh who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You."

The voice of Your watchmen! They lift up their voices;They shout joyfully together;For they will see with their own eyesWhen Yahweh returns to Zion.

Thus He will sprinkle many nations,Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him;For what had not been told them they will see,And what they had not heard they will understand.

But Yahweh was pleasedTo crush Him, putting Him to grief;If You would place His soul as a guilt offering,He will see His seed,He will prolong His days,And the good pleasure of Yahweh will succeed in His hand.
