I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians. I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk in uprightness.

Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject or despise them so as to destroy them and break My covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God.

But for their sake I will remember the covenant with their fathers, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am the LORD."

Even if his father or mother or brother or sister should die, he is not to defile himself, because the crown of consecration to his God is upon his head.

When you enter into battle in your land against an adversary who attacks you, sound short blasts on the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the LORD your God and delivered from your enemies.

And on your joyous occasions, your appointed feasts, and the beginning of each month, you are to blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, and they will serve as a reminder for you before your God. I am the LORD your God."

So Moses cried out to the LORD, "O God, please heal her!"

Then you will remember and obey all My commandments, and you will be holy to your God.

I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD your God."

Is it not enough for you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel and brought you near to Himself to perform the work at the LORD's tabernacle, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them?

But Moses and Aaron fell facedown and said, "O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, when one man sins, will You vent Your wrath on the whole congregation?"

and spoke against God and against Moses: "Why have you led us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread or water, and we detest this wretched food!"

Then God came to Balaam and asked, "Who are these men with you?"

And Balaam said to God, "Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, sent me this message:

But God said to Balaam, "Do not go with them. You are not to curse this people, for they are blessed."

But Balaam replied to the servants of Balak, "If Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not do anything small or great to go beyond the command of the LORD my God.

That night God came to Balaam and said, "Since these men have come to summon you, get up and go with them, but you must only do what I tell you."

"See, I have come to you," Balaam replied, "but can I say just anything? I must speak only the word that God puts in my mouth."

and God met with him. "I have set up seven altars," Balaam said, "and on each altar I have offered a bull and a ram."

How can I curse what God has not cursed? How can I denounce what the LORD has not denounced?
