Don't you weep for the dead, neither bemoan him; but weep sore for him who goes away; for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.

But in the place where they have led him captive, there shall he die, and he shall see this land no more.

Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? says the LORD. Don't I fill heaven and eretz? says the LORD.

Then said the LORD to me, What see you, Yirmeyahu? I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, that can't be eaten, they are so bad.

therefore thus says the LORD, Behold, I will punish Shemayah the Nechelami, and his seed; he shall not have a man to dwell among this people, neither shall he see the good that I will do to my people, says the LORD, because he has spoken rebellion against the LORD.

Ask now, and see whether a man does travail with child: why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?

and Tzidkiyahu king of Yehudah shall not escape out of the hand of the Kasdim, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Bavel, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall see his eyes;

Behold, the mounds, they are come to the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Kasdim who fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence; and what you have spoken has happened; and, behold, you see it.

and you shall not escape out of his hand, but shall surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and your eyes shall see the eyes of the king of Bavel, and he shall speak with you mouth to mouth, and you shall go to Bavel.

and said to Yirmeyahu the prophet, Let, we pray you, our supplication be presented before you, and pray for us to the LORD your God, even for all this remnant; for we are left but a few of many, as your eyes do see us:

saying, No; but we will go into the land of Mitzrayim, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the shofar, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:

For thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Yisra'el: As my anger and my wrath has been poured forth on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, so shall my wrath be poured forth on you, when you shall enter into Mitzrayim; and you shall be an object of horror, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and you shall see this place no more.

Yirmeyahu said to Serayah, When you come to Bavel, then see that you read all these words,

Her filthiness was in her skirts; she didn't remember her latter end; Therefore is she come down wonderfully; she has no comforter: See, LORD, my affliction; for the enemy has magnified himself.

All her people sigh, they seek bread; They have given their pleasant things for food to refresh the soul: Look, LORD, and see; for I am become abject.

Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look, and see if there be any sorrow like my sorrow, which is brought on me, With which the LORD has afflicted [me] in the day of his fierce anger.

The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his mitzvah: Please hear all you peoples, and see my sorrow: My virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.

See, LORD; for I am in distress; my heart is troubled; My heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: Abroad the sword bereaves, at home there is as death.

Look, LORD, and see to whom you have done thus! Shall the women eat their fruit, the children that are dandled in the hands? Shall the Kohen and the prophet be killed in the sanctuary of the Lord?

Until the LORD look down, and see from heaven.
