The burden which Habakkuk ye Prophet did see.

I will stand vpon my watch, & set mee vpon the towre, and will watch to see what he will say vnto me, and what I shall answere when I am reproued.

The Lord hath taken away thy iudgements, he hath cast out thine enemy: the King of Israel, euen the Lord is in the middest of thee: thou shalt not see euill any more.

Who is left among you that sawe this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison of it, as nothing?

Then said I, Whither goest thou? And hee said vnto me, To measure Ierusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall reioyce and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seuen: they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

And hee said vnto mee, What seest thou? and I answered, I see a flying roule, the length thereof is twentie cubites, and the breadth thereof tenne cubites.

Then the Angell that talked with me, went forth and said vnto me, Lift vp now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

Ashkelon shall see it, and feare, Gaza also shall see it and be very sorrowfull, and Ekron: for her expectation shalbe ashamed, and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shal not be inhabited.

And they of Ephraim shall be like a mightie man, and their heart shall reioyce as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad, their heart shall reioyce in the Lord.

And your eyes shall see, and yee shall say; The Lord will be magnified from the border of Israel.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good workes, and glorifie your father which is in heauen.

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beame out of thine owne eye: and then shalt thou see clearely to cast out the mote out of thy brothers eye.

And Iesus saith vnto him, See thou tell no man, but go thy way, shew thy selfe to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimonie vnto them.

And their eyes were opened: and Iesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

Iesus answered and saide vnto them, Go and shew Iohn againe those things which we doe heare and see:

And as they departed, Iesus began to say vnto the multitudes concerning Iohn, what went ye out into the wildernesse to see? a reede shaken with the winde?

But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they that weare soft cloathing, are in kings houses.

But what went ye out for to see? A Prophet? yea, I say vnto you, and more then a Prophet.
