It happened, that when Yitzchak was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esav his elder son, and said to him, "My son?" He said to him, "Here I am."

He said, "See now, I am old. I don't know the day of my death.

He said, "Isn't he rightly named Ya`akov? For he has supplanted me these two times. He took away my birthright. See, now he has taken away my blessing." He said, "Haven't you reserved a blessing for me?"

He said to them, "Is it well with him?" They said, "It is well. See, Rachel, his daughter, is coming with the sheep."

and said to them, "I see the expression on your father's face, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father has been with me.

Lavan answered Ya`akov, "The daughters are my daughters, the children are my children, the flocks are my flocks, and all that you see is mine: and what can I do this day to these my daughters, or to their children whom they have borne?

Lavan said to Ya`akov, "See this heap, and see the pillar, which I have set between me and you.

You shall say, 'Not only that, but behold, your servant, Ya`akov, is behind us.'" For, he said, "I will appease him with the present that goes before me, and afterward I will see his face. Perhaps he will accept me."

Dinah, the daughter of Le'ah, whom she bore to Ya`akov, went out to see the daughters of the land.

He said to him, "Go now, see whether it is well with your brothers, and well with the flock; and bring me word again." So he sent him out of the valley of Hevron, and he came to Shekhem.

Come now therefore, and let's kill him, and cast him into one of the pits, and we will say, 'An evil animal has devoured him.' We will see what will become of his dreams."

Yosef remembered the dreams which he dreamed about them, and said to them, "You are spies! You have come to see the nakedness of the land."

You said to your servants, 'Unless your youngest brother comes down with you, you will see my face no more.'

We said, 'We can't go down. If our youngest brother is with us, then will we go down: for we may not see the man's face, unless our youngest brother is with us.'

For how will I go up to my father, if the boy isn't with me? Lest I see the evil that will come on my father."

Behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Binyamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.

So he sent his brothers away, and they departed. He said to them, "See that you don't quarrel on the way."
