And he said, Lift up now your eyes, and see, all the he-goats which leap on the flock are ringstreaked, speckled, and grizzled: for I have seen all that Laban does to you.

And Laban answered and said to Jacob, The daughters are my daughters, and the sons are my sons, and the flocks are my flocks, and all that you see is mine: and what can I do this day to these my daughters, or to their sons whom they have borne?

If you shall afflict my daughters, and if you shall take wives besides my daughters, no man is with us; see, God is witness between me and you.

and you shall say, Moreover, look, your slave Jacob is behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goes before me, and afterward I will see his face; perhaps he will accept me.

And Dinah the daughter of Leah, whom she bore to Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.

And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said to them, You are spies; to see the nakedness of the land you have come.

And Judah spoke to him, saying, The man did solemnly protest to us, saying, You shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

but if you will not send him, we will not go down; for the man said to us, You shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

And you said to your slaves, Except your youngest brother come down with you, you shall see my face no more.
