Yahweh your God is in your midst,A mighty one who will save.He will be joyful over you with gladness;He will be quiet in His love;He will rejoice over you with joyful singing.

"You look for much, but behold, it comes to little; and you bring it home, and I blow it away. Why?" declares Yahweh of hosts, "Because of My house which lies waste, while each of you runs to his own house.

If a man carries holy meat in the fold of his garment and touches bread with this fold or cooked food, wine, oil, or any other food, will it become holy?'" And the priests answered, "No."

And I said, "What are these coming to do?" And he said, "These are the horns which have scattered Judah so that no man lifts up his head; but these craftsmen have come to cause them to tremble, to throw down the horns of the nations who have lifted up their horns against the land of Judah in order to scatter it."

Then I lifted up my eyes and saw, and behold, there was a man with a measuring cord in his hand.

For thus says Yahweh of hosts, "After glory He has sent Me against the nations which have taken you as spoil, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.

Then Yahweh will inherit Judah as His portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem.

"Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh; for He is aroused from His holy habitation."

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Yahweh, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.

Then I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments, while the angel of Yahweh was standing by.

In that day,' declares Yahweh of hosts, ‘every one of you will call for his neighbor to sit under his vine and under his fig tree.'"

Then the angel who was speaking with me returned and roused me, as a man who is roused from his sleep.

"The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will finish it. Then you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent me to you.

Indeed, it is He who will build the temple of Yahweh, and He who will bear the splendor and sit and rule on His throne. Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices."'

"Thus has Yahweh of hosts said, ‘Judge with true justice and show lovingkindness and compassion each to his brother;

And they made their hearts diamond-hard so that they could not hear the law and the words which Yahweh of hosts had sent by His Spirit by the hand of the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from Yahweh of hosts.

Thus says Yahweh of hosts, ‘Old men and old women will again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each man with his staff in his hand because of age.

I will cut off the chariot from EphraimAnd the horse from Jerusalem;And the bow of war will be cut off.And He will speak peace to the nations;And His reign will be from sea to seaAnd from the River to the ends of the earth.

Then Yahweh will appear over them,And His arrow will go forth like lightning;And Lord Yahweh will blow the trumpetAnd will go in the storm winds of the south.

And Yahweh their God will save them in that dayAs the flock of His people;For they are as the stones of a crown,Sparkling in His land.
