Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. "I am willing," He said. "Be clean!" And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you." And his servant was healed at that very hour.

Jesus replied, "Foxes have dens, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head."

Another of His disciples requested, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father."

When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.

Jesus got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own town.

Later, as Jesus was dining at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with Him and His disciples.

When the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"

So Jesus got up and went with him, along with His disciples.

Suddenly a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak.

She said to herself, "If only I touch His cloak, I will be healed."

Then He said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest."

And calling His twelve disciples to Him, Jesus gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that they could drive them out and heal every disease and sickness.

These are the names of the twelve apostles: first Simon, called Peter, and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;

Take no bag for the road, or second tunic, or sandals, or staff; for the worker is worthy of his provisions.

Whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy and stay at his house until you move on.

Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rise against their parents and have them put to death.

A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.

It is enough for a disciple to be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household!
