Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore in that day they shall know that it is I who speak; here I am."

Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord say, "The Lord will surely separate me from his people"; and let not the eunuch say, "Behold, I am a dry tree."

Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.' If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,

You shall suck the milk of nations; you shall nurse at the breast of kings; and you shall know that I, the Lord , am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

The least one shall become a clan, and the smallest one a mighty nation; I am the Lord ; in its time I will hasten it.

I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me; I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me. I said, "Here I am, here I am," to a nation that was not called by my name.

who say, "Keep to yourself, do not come near me, for I am too holy for you." These are a smoke in my nostrils, a fire that burns all the day.

Then I said, "Ah, Lord God ! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth."

But the Lord said to me, "Do not say, ‘I am only a youth'; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak.

Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord ."

Then the Lord said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it."

For behold, I am calling all the tribes of the kingdoms of the north, declares the Lord , and they shall come, and every one shall set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, against all its walls all around and against all the cities of Judah.

They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, declares the Lord , to deliver you."

How can you say, ‘I am not unclean, I have not gone after the Baals'? Look at your way in the valley; know what you have done— a restless young camel running here and there,

you say, ‘I am innocent; surely his anger has turned from me.' Behold, I will bring you to judgment for saying, ‘I have not sinned.'

Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, "‘Return, faithless Israel, declares the Lord . I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful, declares the Lord ; I will not be angry forever.

Return, O faithless children, declares the Lord ; for I am your master; I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

For I heard a cry as of a woman in labor, anguish as of one giving birth to her first child, the cry of the daughter of Zion gasping for breath, stretching out her hands, "Woe is me! I am fainting before murderers."

Therefore thus says the Lord , the God of hosts: "Because you have spoken this word, behold, I am making my words in your mouth a fire, and this people wood, and the fire shall consume them.

Behold, I am bringing against you a nation from afar, O house of Israel, declares the Lord . It is an enduring nation; it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you do not know, nor can you understand what they say.
