And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I can't go into the house of Yahweh:

Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I am not falling away to the Chaldeans. But he didn't listen to him; so Irijah laid hold on Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.

And Zedekiah the king said to Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews that have fallen away to the Chaldeans, in case they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.

Don't be afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid; don't be afraid of him, says Yahweh: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.

You said, Woe is me now! for Yahweh has added sorrow to my pain; I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.

Don't you be afraid, O Jacob my slave, says Yahweh; for I am with you: for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have driven you; but I will not make a full end of you, but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.

Look, I am against you, O you proud one, says the Lord, Yahweh of hosts; for your day has come, the time that I will visit you.

Look, I am against you, O destroying mountain, says Yahweh, which destroys all the earth; and I will stretch out my hand on you, and roll you down from the rocks, and will make you a burnt mountain.

The yoke of my transgressions is tied by his hand; They are knit together, they have come up on my neck; he has made my strength to fail: The Lord has delivered me into their hands, against whom I am not able to stand.

Look, O Yahweh; for I am in distress; my insides are troubled; My heart is turned inside me; for I have grievously rebelled: Abroad the sword bereaves, at home there is as death.

I am the [noble] man that has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.

Waters flowed over my head; I said, I am cut off.

Look at their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their song.

And the sons are impudent and stiffhearted: I am sending you to them; and you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh.

therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Look, I, even I, am against you; and I will execute judgments in the midst of you in the sight of the nations.

And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

And they shall know that I am Yahweh: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil to them.

And you shall know that I am Yahweh, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, on every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the places where they offered sweet savor to all their idols.

And I will stretch out my hand on them, and make the land desolate and waste, from the wilderness of Diblatha, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am Yahweh.

And my eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your disgusting behaviors shall be in the midst of you: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
