If anyone destroys God's sanctuary, God will destroy him, for God's sanctuary is holy. And you are that sanctuary!

For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like men condemned to death. We have become a spectacle for the world, for angels, and for people to stare at.Psalm 44:22; Romans 8:36; 1 Corinthians 15:30-31; 2 Corinthians 4:11; 6:9; Hebrews 10:33;">[xr]

for the kingdom of God isn't just talk but power.1 Corinthians 2:4; 1 Thessalonians 1:5;">[xr]

God will judge outsiders. "Put that wicked man away from you."Deuteronomy 17:7 (LXX)">[fn]Deuteronomy 13:5; 17:7; 21:21;">[xr]

You know that wicked people will not inherit the kingdom of God, don't you? Stop deceiving yourselves! Sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals,1 Corinthians 15:50; Galatians 5:21; Ephesians 5:5; 1 Timothy 1:9; Hebrews 12:14; 13:4; Revelation 22:15;">[xr]

thieves, greedy people, drunks, slanderers, and robbers will not inherit the kingdom of God.

That is what some of you were! But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and inby">[fn] the Spirit of our God.1 Corinthians 1:30; 12:2; Ephesians 2:2; 4:22; 5:8; Colossians 3:7; Titus 3:3; Hebrews 10:22;">[xr]

Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food, but God will put an end to both of them. But if the unbelieving partnerthe unbeliever">[fn] leaves, let him go. In such cases the brother or sister is not bound; God has called youus">[fn] to live in peace.Romans 12:18; 14:19; 1 Corinthians 14:33; Hebrews 12:14;">[xr]

Nevertheless, everyone should live the life that the Lord gave him and to which God called him. This is my rule in all the churches.1 Corinthians 4:17; 2 Corinthians 11:28;">[xr]

Brothers, everyone should stay in the calling he was in when called by God.1 Corinthians 7:20;">[xr]

But if anyone loves God, he is known by him.by him">[fn]Exodus 33:12,17; Nahum 1:7; Matthew 7:23; Galatians 4:9; 2 Timothy 2:19;">[xr]

yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom everything came into being and for whom we live. And there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom everything came into being and through whom we live.Malachi 2:10; John 1:3; 13:13; Acts 2:36; 17:28; Romans 11:36; 1 Corinthians 12:3; Ephesians 4:5-6; Philippians 2:11; Colossians 1:6; Hebrews 1:2;">[xr]

However, food will not bring us closer to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do.Romans 14:17;">[xr]
