and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

His mother *said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."

Jesus did this in Cana of Galilee as the beginning of His signs, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.

After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples; and they stayed there a few days.

His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for Your house will consume me."

But He was speaking about the sanctuary of His body.

So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.

Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name, when they saw His signs which He was doing.

But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all men,

Nicodemus *said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light lest his deeds be exposed.

But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been done by God."

After these things Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea, and there He was spending time with them and baptizing.

What He has seen and heard, of that He bears witness; and no one receives His witness.

He who has received His witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.

The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.

(although Jesus Himself was not baptizing, but His disciples were),

So He *came to a city of Samaria called Sychar, near the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph;

and Jacob's well was there. So Jesus, being wearied from His journey, was sitting thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
