For he taught his disciples, and said to them, The Son of man is delivered up into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and when he is killed, after three days he shall rise again.

And he took a little child, and set him in the midst of them: and taking him in his arms, he said to them,

For whoever shall give you a cup of water to drink, because you are Christ's, truly I say to you, he shall in no way lose his reward.

And whoever shall cause one of these little ones that believe in me to stumble, it were better for him if a great millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

And Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to divorce [his] wife? trying him.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife;

And he says to them, Whoever divorces his wife, and marries another, commits adultery against her:

And he took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

But his countenance fell at the saying, and he went away sorrowful: for he was one that had great possessions.

And Jesus looked round about, and says to his disciples, How hardly shall those that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answers again, and says to them, Children, how hard it is to enter into the kingdom of God!

For the Son of man also didn't come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.

And they come to Jericho: and as he went out from Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the wayside.

And many rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried out the more a great deal, Son of David, have mercy on me.

And he, casting away his garment, sprang up, and came to Jesus.

And Jesus said to him, Go your way; your faith has made you whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him in the way.

And when they draw near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sends two of his disciples,

And he answered and said to it, No man eat fruit from you from now on forever. And his disciples heard it.

And the chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, for all the multitude was astonished at his teaching.

Truly I say to you, Whoever shall say to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he says comes to pass; he shall have it.
