So they grabbed the son when he rode through the gate and strung him up and killed him."What do you think the ranch owner will do to those boys who killed his son?" Jesus asked.

"Let me tell you. He will come with a terrible vengeance and wipe them off the face of the earth. Then he will give his ranch to cowboys who will take care of it and appreciate it."Everyone who was listening cried out, "Let's hope nothing like that ever happens around here!"

"Well then, if his picture is on it then he must own it. Give to Caesar what is his and give God what belongs to God."

They stood there with stupid looks on their faces. They were amazed by his wisdom and his answers. They shut their mouths and left.

They asked Jesus this question, "Boss, Moses said in his Code that if a man dies, leaving his wife behind without a child, then the man's brother should marry her and give her a child to carry on his brother's name.

Jesus continued, "But this isn't a question about marriage, but one about life after death. Even Moses proved this when he wrote about his experience with the burning bush. Way after Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob had died, Moses referred to God as 'the Boss of Abraham, the Boss of Isaac, and the Boss of Jacob.'

Then Jesus posed his own question, "Why does everyone think the Top Hand who will save everyone is David's son?

While everyone was watching and listening, Jesus turned to his twelve cowboys nearby and said,

"But before any of this happens, there will be a great persecution of those who ride for God. His cowboys will be sent to prisons and punished in the churches. They will stand trial before national leaders just because they ride for me.

Those will be the days of God's wrath, and the words of his great cowboys will come true.

Judas went to the preachers and teachers and agreed to double-cross his boss.

They liked Judas's idea and decided to pay him for his betrayal.

Jesus said, "When you get into Jerusalem, you'll find a guy carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him to his house.

When the time came to eat the Passover meal, Jesus and his cowboys were sitting at the table.

Then Jesus took some bread, gave thanks to the Boss for it and broke it in pieces. He gave a piece to all his cowboys and said, "This is a symbol of my body, which will be sacrificed for you. When you eat it, remember what I did."

My fate has been sealed. The Top Hand must die, but hell's comin' for the cuss who would give up his Boss."

And just like the Boss has granted me the keys to his outfit,

Jesus left then, and his cowboys went with him to Olive Hill.

Then an angel showed up and strengthened his body for what was to come.

Jesus started praying some more. He prayed so hard that his sweat turned to blood and fell to the ground.
