So the father knew that [it was] at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, Thy son liveth: and he himself believed, and his whole house.

And immediately the man was healed, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

And the Father himself who hath sent me, hath borne testimony concerning me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he performed on them that were diseased.

And Jesus went upon a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.

When Jesus then lifted up [his] eyes, and saw a great company come to him, he saith to Philip, Whence shall we buy bread that these may eat?

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith to him,

When they were satisfied, he said to his disciples, Gather the fragments that remain, that nothing may be lost.

And when evening had [now] come, his disciples went down to the sea,

The day following, when the people who stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, save that one into which his disciples had entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but [that] his disciples had gone away alone;

When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took boats, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

The Jews therefore contended among themselves, saying, How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?

Then Jesus said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard [this], said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it?
