and to give you, those being afflicted, relief with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with angels of His power,

who will pay the penalty: everlasting destruction from the face of the Lord, "and from the glory of His strength," Isa. 2:19

when He comes to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all those who believe in that Day, because our testimony to you was believed.

For which we also continually pray concerning you, that our God would deem you worthy of the calling, and would fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness, and work of faith in power,

And now you know the thing holding back, for him to be revealed in his time.

And then "the Lawless One" will be revealed, "whom" "the Lord" "will consume" "by the spirit of His mouth," and will bring to nought by the brightness of His presence. Isa. 11:4

His coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and miraculous signs and lying wonders,

ruling his own house well, having children in subjection with all respect.

But if anyone does not know how to rule his own house, how will he care for an assembly of God?

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle an ox treading out grain," and, the laborer is worthy of his pay. Deut. 25:4

who in His own time will reveal the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,

Then do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner. But suffer hardship with the gospel, according to the power of God,

the One having saved us and having called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace given to us in Christ Jesus before eternal times,

However, the foundation of God stands firm, having this seal, "The Lord knew the ones being His;" see Num. 16:5, 7 , also, Let everyone naming the name of Christ depart from unrighteousness.

Then I solemnly witness before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, He being about to judge the living and dead at His appearance and His kingdom:

For the rest, the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me in that Day, and not only to me, but also to all the ones loving His appearance.

Alexander the coppersmith showed many evil things to me. The Lord "will give back to him according to his works." LXX-Psa. 61:13; Prov. 24:12; MT-Psa. 62:12

And the Lord will deliver me from every wicked work and will save me for His heavenly kingdom; to whom be the glory to the ages of the ages. Amen.
