Jesus answered, "Y'all don't know scripture from scribblin'! And you don't know who God is.

When God opens the gates of heaven for those who believe in his boy, they won't be hitched to nobody. They'll be like the winged riders who serve him.

If the Boss don't step in with his mighty hand and make this time as short as possible, ain't nobody gonna make it out alive. Nobody! But because God loves the cowboys who ride for him, he's gonna step in and make sure it don't go on too long.

"When this happens, the Son will ride back. Every person will see it and there will be no doubt. People who have chosen to ride alone or with someone else, instead of with me, will cry and wail in terror when they see me ride out of heaven with all the power of God in my right hand.

They sang a song about God and went to Olive Hill.

Jesus turned to the posse and asked, "Am I the leader of some outlaw gang? Have I done any violence to anyone that warrants y'all comin' out here to arrest me with all these weapons? Every day I sat in the church teachin' everyone about God and you never arrested me there.

But Jesus kept his mouth closed.The head honcho said, "I dare you to answer this one question, so help you God. Are you the Christ, the Boss's Son?"

The head honcho broke into a fit of rage and spit flew from his mouth as he said, "He has called himself God! Why do we need more witnesses? Everyone in here just heard him. What do y'all think we should do now?"

said, "If you're the Son of God, tell us who is hittin' you!"

He trusts in God. Let the Almighty save him if he really wants him. Jesus said himself, 'I am the Boss's Son.'"

About three o'clock, Jesus yelled out, "Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?" —which translated into cowboy terms means, "My God, my God, why have you shucked out on me?"

At that very moment, the drapery in the church that separated man from God was split down the middle startin' at the top and comin' down. The whole earth shook and boulders split wide open like busted watermelons.

This ain't about nothing except the good news of a man named Jesus, the Son of God.

I reckon it all started when one of God's top hands, a fella named Isaiah, wrote this, "God said, 'I got a cowboy coming who is going to show you a new message and a new way of riding for me.

So John came out of nowhere, riding for God and baptizing folks. His message was plain and simple, "Quit riding in sin and be baptized and God will turn a blind eye to all the sorry things you've done."

Folks came from all around the country to hear this cowboy preach. Many a heart turned to God and they told of the sorry things they had done and old John dunked 'em in Jordan Creek.

When Jesus came up out of the water, the sky split plumb apart and you could see right into heaven. And out of heaven come the Spirit of God like a dove and it came right down to him.

Then the Spirit of God led Jesus out into the wilds and the brush where there were no fences and things were hard to come by.

Jesus was out there for more'n forty days with nothing to eat and Satan tried to take him out time and again. Jesus spent all those nights surrounded by all sorts of predators, but God sent angels to take care of him.

The cowboys rode all the way to Capernaum. When the day of rest came (the old timers called it the Sabbath), Jesus went up to the church building and began to give all them folks a clinic on what it means to ride for God.
