"Who does this cowboy think he is? Only God can forgive sins."

There was this one time that the guys who rode with John the Baptist, as well as some other goody-goody preachers, were going without food for religious reasons. All these folks came to Jesus and asked, "Why do all those who follow John, and those who follow the Pharisees, go without food in order to get closer to God, but your cowboys don't?"

But whenever a demon saw him, they would always fall down and holler out, "You are the Son of God, his Top Hand!"

but anyone who rejects the love of God and attributes the Holy Spirit's work to the devil, that person's sin will not be forgiven."

With an unearthly shriek, he yelled, "Why have you come to stop me, Son of God? By God's good name, please don't torture me."

but Jesus told him to go home. "Tell people what God has done for you and that he had mercy on you."

Then Jesus said to 'em all, "A cowboy who rides for God gets respect for what he does everywhere except his hometown. All the people he grew up with, including his family, think they know who he really is, but they don't."

So the cowboys set off in pairs to spread the good news and gather people for God's outfit. They told everyone to turn from their wicked ways and start riding for God.

They cast out many demons that were hurting people and put a little dab of oil on people's heads to show that they ride for God. Many folks were healed.

and others said Jesus was Elijah or a new cowboy of God like there used to be in the olden days.

but Herod had kind of taken a liking to a cowboy like John who spoke the truth and rode for God. He didn't really know what to think about the things that John said, but he liked listening to him.

When all the cowboys got back from their first big gathering for God, they all sat around and told Jesus their stories.

When Jesus saw there were so many people wanting to know about riding for God, he felt sorry for them. They were like a stray herd looking for water so Jesus taught them many things. In other words, he watered them. Jesus spent a long time teaching and it got to be very late.

Jesus took the five loaves and two pieces of fish, looked up to God and gave thanks, and broke the bread. He gave the pieces of bread and fish to his cowboys to pass out to the hungry crowd.

Y'all don't ride for God. You just make up stuff and say it came from him."

Jesus kept it up and said, "Y'all conveniently shun the commands from God in order to make up your own sorry rules.

just say that the money or food is a gift to God.

They said, "Some say John the Baptist reborn and others call you Elijah, or some others say a cowboy of God from the old days."

Jesus continued to look ahead and said, "Who do y'all think I am?"Pete spat his words quickly, "You are the Chosen One. The one God said he'd send to save us all."

Jesus wasn't having none of it and said loud enough for everyone to hear, "Get back Satan before I stomp a mud hole in ya. You're only looking at things from a man's perspective and not the ways of God."
