And Lot went out, and spoke to his sons-in-law, who married his daughters, and said, Get up, go out of this place; for Yahweh will destroy the city. But he seemed to his sons-in-law as one that mocked.

But he lingered; and the men laid hold on his hand, and on the hand of his wife, and on the hand of his two daughters, Yahweh being merciful to him; and they brought him forth, and set him outside the city.

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She's my sister. And Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

And Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his slaves, and told all these things in their ears. And the men were very afraid.

And Abimelech took sheep and oxen, and male slaves and female slaves, and gave them to Abraham, and restored Sarah his wife to him.

And Abraham prayed to God. And God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his female slaves. And they gave birth.

And Sarah became pregnant, and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

And Abraham called the name of his son that was born to him, whom Sarah bore to him, Isaac.

And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.

And Abraham was a hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born to him.

And she said, Who would have said to Abraham, that Sarah should nurse sons? For I have borne him a son in his old age.

And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight on account of his son.

And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran. And his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phicol the captain of his host spoke to Abraham, saying, God is with you in all that you do.

So they made a covenant at Beer-sheba. And Abimelech rose up, and Phicol the captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

And Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son. And he split the wood for the burnt-offering, and rose up, and went to the place of which God had told him.

On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place far off.

And Abraham said to his young men, You abide here with the donkey, and I and the lad will go yonder; and we will worship, and come again to you.
