And his sisters are all with us, aren't they? So where did this man get all these things?"

said to his servants, "This is John the Baptist! He has been raised from the dead, and that's why these miracles are at work in him."

Though the king was saddened at this, because of his oaths and his guests he ordered it to be given.

When his disciples reached the other side, they had forgotten to take any bread along.Mark 8:14;">[xr]

When Jesus had come to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?"Mark 8:27; Luke 9:18;">[xr]

From that time on, Jesus began to show his disciples that he would have to go to Jerusalem and suffer a great deal because of the elders, the high priests, and the scribes.
