And he came to his father, and said, My father. And he said, Here I am. Who are you, my son?

And Jacob said to his father, I am Esau your first-born; I have done according to as you bade me: arise, I pray you, sit and eat of my venison, that your soul may bless me.

And Isaac said to his son, How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because Yahweh your God sent me success.

And Jacob went near to Isaac his father. And he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.

And he did not discern him, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands. So he blessed him.

And his father Isaac said to him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son.

And he came near, and kissed him. And he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which Yahweh has blessed.

And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

And he also made savory food, and brought it to his father. And he said to his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son's venison, that your soul may bless me.

And Isaac his father said to him, Who are you? And he said, I am your son, your first-born, Esau.

When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a very great and bitter cry, and said to his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.

And Isaac answered and said to Esau, Look, I have made him your lord, and all his brothers I have given to him for slaves. And with grain and new wine I have sustained him. And what then shall I do for you, my son?

And Esau said to his father, Have you but one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

And Isaac his father answered and said to him, Look, of the fatness of the earth shall be your dwelling, And of the dew of heaven from above.

And by your sword you shall live, and you shall serve your brother. And it shall come to pass, when you shall break loose, That you shall shake his yoke from off your neck.

And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him. And Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand. Then I will slay my brother Jacob.

And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and had gone to Paddan-aram.

And Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan didn't please Isaac his father.

And Esau went to Ishmael, and took, besides the wives that he had, Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebaioth, to be his wife.

And he came on a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set. And he took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep.
