A'alar

("greek-hebrew">Ἀαλάρ ), a person who (or a place from which some of the Jews) returned after the captivity ("scriptRef" ref="1es+5:36">1 Esdras 5:36); more correctly called in the parallel list ("scriptRef" ref="ne+7:61">Nehemiah 7:61) IMMER (See IMMER) (q.v.).

Aara

("greek-hebrew">ארא ), a factitious term used by the Rabbins (Lex. Talm. "italic ">Aruch, s.v.) as an example of a word beginning with two X's, like AAZRAK (See AAZRAK) (q.v.). In the Talmud, according to Buxtorf "italic ">(Lex. Talm. "scriptRef" ref="col+2:1-23">Colossians 2:1-23), it is written "italic ">Avera ("greek-hebrew">אֲוֵירָא ), perhaps only a singular Chaldaic form of the plural URIM (See URIM) (q.v.), "italic ">light.
