		a Congregational minister, was born at Wareham, Mass., Dec. 19, 1806. He graduated at Amherst College in 1831; at Andover Theological Seminary in 1834; was pastor at Lakeville, then at Middleborough, Mass., 1836-42; at Norton, Mass., 184245; at Dover, N. H., 1845-52; Wareham, 1852-59; Plaistow, N. H., 1859-69; and Lakeville, 1869-72. He then removed to Andover, Mass., where he died, April 1, 1881.
