Belli, Francesco (1),
an Italian theologian and scholar, was born in 1577, at Arzignano, in Vicentin. He travelled in France and Holland, and died, in 1644. He wrote, La Caterina d'Alessandria, a tragedy in verse (Verona, 1621, 1622, 1660): — L'Esequie del Redentore, Sacra Rappresentazione, in Prosa (Vienna, 1653): — Le Osservazioni di Fr.
