a Lutheran theologian, was born at Wildenstein, in Bohemia, in 1619. For a time he acted as tutor at different schools, till in 1660 he was called as deacon to Blaubeuren. He died as pastor in Sindelfingen, Jan. 26, 1677. He is the author of a collection of hymns, published under the title Andachtige Gotteslieder (Nordlingen, 1658). — See Will, Nurnberger Gelehrten- Lexikon, 1-755; Koch, Gesch. des. deutschen Kircahenliedes, 3, 485 sq.
