a Baptist missionary among the Seneca and Ojibwa Indians, was born at Enfield, N. H., May 9, 1786. He was ordained at Wheatland, N. Y., in 1838, and was sent among the Ojibwas. In 1855 he resigned his connection with the mission and removed to Michigan. He died at Grand Rapids, Mich., Nov. 26, 1865.
