a Danish Protestant theologian, was born at Birckerod, in Zealand, in 1623. He studied at Copenhagen and Leyden, and was appointed professor of philosophy at Copenhagen in 1658. In 1660 he was made professor of Greek, and in 1668 he was appointed to the theological chair. He took his degree as doctor of theology in 1675, and died in 1686. He wrote, Diatribe de Legis Mosaicce Divina Originae et Auctoritate: Fides Eve de Messice Divina Natura: Exercitationes contra Atheos.
