a Baptist minister, was born in Middleborough, Massachusetts, in 1768, where he became pastor of the Fourth Baptist Church for many years, preaching also for several years in Rabynham, likewise at what was known as "The Four Corners." He is spoken of as having been eminently a peacemaker, though never at the expense of truth. He died at this residence in Middleborough, February 8, 1851.
