an English Weslevan minister, was born at Mackworth, Derbyshire, in 1767. He commenced his ministry in 1795, and travelled twenty-four circuits. He became a supernumerary in 1834, and settled at Brighton, afterwards (1844) in London, where he died January 23, 1850. He was a man of unblemished character and fervent zeal.
