a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Ketschberg, near Dresden, Nov. 4,1602. He studied at Leipsic and Wittenberg, was in 1635 preacher at Mutzschen, and afterwards superintendent and assessor of the consistory at Wurtzen. In 1657 he was called to Dresden as superior counsellor of consistory, pastor, and superintendent, and died there Sept. 8, 1677. He wrote, Schedrasmata in Valerium Flaccum; Censura Historice, quam Joh. Hoferus de sua ad Religionem Papisticam Defectione Perscripsit.
