a Swiss ascetic theologian and poet, lived in the middle of the 17th century. Having been a village pastor in 1629, he obtained the office of curate of Geneva in 1689. He wrote, Carmina in Miraculosam et Felicem Liberationem a Deo Optimo Maximo Urbi Genevce Missam anno 1602: — In Obitam Jacobi Godefiedi Carmen Epicedium (1652). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog.
