a Baptist missionary, was born at East Hamburg, N.Y., October 4, 1836. He graduated at the University of Rochester in 1861, and at the Rochester Theological Seminary in 1864; was ordained at Fredonlia, July 20, that year, and soon after sailed, under appointment of the American Baptist Missionary Union: to Bangkok, Siam, where he died, December 30, 1865.
